Woodbridge, Va. –– One of Two men who were found shot outside a Woodbridge restaurant Thursday is in critical condition.
Police were called to the K2 Restaurant inside Featherstone Plaza on Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. 1) in Woodbridge at 1:22 a.m. and found two men suffering gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to a local hospital, one man suffering life-threatening injuries while the other is expected to survive, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
An argument between the victims and another man began inside the restaurant and then turned physical. The men involved took it outside to the parking lot where one of the men drew a handgun and fired on both victims, said Perok.
Police later found their suspect –– an acquaintance of one of the victims –– at his home at 4510 Ashmere Circle near Dumfries, where police executed a search warrant, said Perok.
Emmanuel Christian Lugo, 25, is charged with malicious wounding and with using a firearm in commission of a felony, said Perok.
He was held with no bond and is expected to appear in court Sept. 28.
