Fairfax County, Va. –– One man died two days after being stabbed in Springfield.
Police said 47-year-old Dennis Bryant of Arlington was stabbed during a physical altercation about 7 p.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Metropolitan Center Drive.
Police were called, and when they arrived found both the victim and the man he had been fighting with still on the scene.
Bryant was taken that night to an area hospital with injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening, said a Fairfax County police spokesman.
At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Bryant died from his injuries at that the hospital.
Glen A. Roberson, 43, of Alexandria, is charged with malicious wounding, said police.
Police say the charge could later be amended. Anyone who may have witnessed the altercation is encouraged to call Fairfax County Crime Solvers.
