Fairfax County, Va. –– A woman was carjacked at gunpoint outside a grocery store Wednesday.
The 38-year-old victim was coming out of a Safeway at 5980 Kingstowne Center in Fairfax County when a man approached her and then pointed a gun.
He demanded her purse, keys and cell phone, got them, and drove off her in her 1993 Toyota Camry.
The woman was not injured, but now police are looking for the alleged robber, said Fairfax County police spokesman Eddy Azarate.
The robber is said to be white, between 23 and 25-years-old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds.
He was wearing a black winter hat and a long, black jacket.
The car he made off in has Virginia license plates KEG-2495.
